Unless I am misreading the help information, this "Empty Cache" approach
would delete all message headers for the entire account. Moreover,
according to the help entry, "all message information that is stored on your
computer such as links, categories, and read status is removed...."
This seems like a heavy price to pay for recovering the removed
attachment(s) of a single message.

What command "repairs the message list"? If you are referring to the
Command-Option-L "special" refresh command, it does not download again the
attachment(s) of an already downloaded message.

And where is the command "Download all Message Bodies"? If you mean the
"Download complete messages in Inbox" option for the account or the "Receive
Entire Message" command, these would have no effect if the message with the
removed attachment(s) has already been fully downloaded.

If you can access the mail server through a web interface and move the
message back into the Inbox, it would seem a simpler way to recover removed
attachment(s).
