Title: Re: Urgent help with E'rage X required
Entourage X has a 4 GB database limit only after SR-1 (10.1.0), if I remember correctly. If your client never upgraded from 10.0.0 that would explain it. So first apply the 10.1.6 Updater (it's a combo updater) from MacTopia. Repairing permissions may not be relevant here since permissions within the user folder are not affected. On the other hand, if he has FileVault on, turn it off. Finally, since Entourage works on a copy of database, he needs to have as much free space on the (same) disk as the size of the database, and then some. So if he doesn't have over 2 GB free, you have to move stuff off the disk onto backup disk, and delete to make room. Not having enough disk space could be the source of the problem.

Hi
Entourage X should have a 4 Gb limit on the database part. Have you tried to rebuild the disk permissions, end then afterwards rebuild the database. Remember to restart the mac after raparing the disk permissions....
