I've often wondered why the database couldn't consist of a few files (one for emails, one for addresses, one for the calendar, etc.). Couldn't that reduce the catastrophe that results when the database becomes corrupted? Also, it might reduce the consumption of disk space by backup programs that copy each changed file (the address book and calendar likely would change far less frequently than the email database for many users. Just an idea from someone with no real idea how much help this would be :-) Jim Robertson -- -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
