Check Tools/Schedules. Do you have any schedule that runs "On Quit"? What actions does this schedule have?
But starting when booting your computer? Have you ever made any "cron jobs"? Do you have CronTab?

PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using - **2004**, X or 2001. It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise.

Subject: Re: Weird problem after removing old versions
I checked that already. The problem continues, I even removed the daemon, but to no avail. Its really irritating, any other ideas?

Since I removed the Office X and Office Demo versions, on both of my machines, Entourage will start automatically when I boot my machine, and will re-start automatically after I quit the program. Anything I can do to get it back to “normal”?
Check in System Preferences->Accounts->Startup Items
If Entourage is listed, delete it. I’m not sure what could cause it to re-start after quitting.
