I discovered the problem, FYI for anyone that uses Konfabulator “Mail Check” Widget.  When the widget was enabled, it would automatically restart Entourage after I closed E’rage, and because I had Konfabulator in my startup items, it would start E’rage immediately upon computer start up.

Check Tools/Schedules. Do you have any schedule that runs "On Quit"? Nope
What actions does this schedule have? None that are activated

But starting when booting your computer? Have you ever made any "cron jobs"? Do you have CronTab? Don’t use CronTab
