>From time to time, I scan in hardcopy documents I receive (using Photoshop and Epson scanning software) and send the images of the documents to government officials and/or private individuals in either JPEG or PDF format. From most people, whether they are in government or not, whether they are using Macintosh or not, the recipients have no problem opening and reading the attachments. One gentleman who uses a cheap Windows PC and connects to the 'net using America Online, however, can't seem to open any JPEG I send to him and can seldom open even a PDF.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is here? Is there any way to remedy this situation?
