Paul and list readers: I went to Paul's third suggestion first to make sure
there was not some kind of internal structural issue.  What I found was
that instead of the [EMAIL PROTECTED] what appeared was my own normal email 
address;
this I edited to become the [EMAIL PROTECTED] and tried again.  Worked like a 
charm.

Perhaps my ISP's processor is doing something now slightly off protocol.

In any event, thanks to Paul, problem identified and resolved.  Bravo, Paul
and this list.
