Oh, I thought you only had 256Mb total, not 512??

You will still see a difference going from 512 to 768, but not as marked as
going from 256 to 768 (assuming you are only replacing only one module.).

For �100, to go to 1gb - I suppose it's worth it if you intend to keep the
machine for a while, but you have to start looking at cost/benefits.
