Try playing around with the View options. You can get really nice
grouping going with multiple criteria, such as by author, sorted by
date within the group. Or by subject, with most recently modified
subject at the  top. But Entourage really needs true threading, which
does not depend on exact matching of the subject. Maybe some day....

That has been at the top of the list for some time, and I'd be
surprised if it does not appear soon.

When you delete a message you did not mean to, if you use Cmd-Z at
once before you do anything else, it will undo your move to deleted
items.
