Title: Re: Entourage Just Works, always
Hi Lorin,

>From what I’ve been told, yes.  If you don’t need them to stay in your database, remove or delete them.  If you end up deleting a lot of them, however, compact your database every now and then.  Deleting items (even from the Deleted Items folder) doesn’t get them out of the database; only a Compact will do that.  Not only does the Entourage 2004 database have a size limit (4 GB) but it has an items limit of 1 million.

P.S.  Does anyone know how to find out how many items are in a database, if that’s even possible??

I guess the only question I have is, is it a good idea to remove all attachments? These are mostly Word documents, which are different versions of book manuscripts, 300 to 400 pages.
