Entourage 2004 v11.1.0 There seems to be a bug in the rebuild command...
Recently, I had occasion to create a template from my pre-existing user account in entourage. Here are the steps I performed: - quit entourage - I duplicated my master account folder on the hard drive and gave it a new name " my template account " - I reopened entourage and switched accounts to the new template account - I deleted all the pre-existing mail in all folders - then deleted all those items in the deleted items folder until entourage was completely empty ( I never use the calendar or notes or any other sections of the program) - quit entourage again - reopened the program with the option key down - I chose to rebuild the particular new template account - when it was done - it said that I saved a lot of hard drive space - * here is the 'bug' - a small amount of e-mail's had returned and been put back in their respective original folders!!! - so - of course I deleted them again - then rebuilt the file again - but some of them always came back - ( back from the deleted items ' grave') - I perform the last two steps five or six times - I was never able to completely empty the template! I would call that a bug ... Wouldn't you? - is there anything that I did wrong or I could do differently to fix this? -- [db-lists] -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
