We have a front-end / back-end(s) Exchange environment here and since SSL
for WebDAV has been mandated, I can't see any data for delegated Exchange
accounts.

I suspect that Entourage 2004 11.1 might be attempting to communicate with a
back-end server (where the mailbox is stored) using SSL. In the exchange
server field, I have filled in the front-end server host address and the
back-end server host address is not in any of the account setup fields.
However, I believe that Entourage might have plucked the backend server host
name using a DNS query at the time the account was connected to.

Does anyone know if Entourage 2004 11.1 was desiged to access the server
that has housed the mailbox of the user rather than go through the front end
server as evidently OWA does?

Thanks,

Bill Bryson
