Thanks to everyone who chimed in about how to replace my old database into
entourage. So i used a backup disk and ent opened my old database fine after i
replaced the main identity folder.
1.today i went to delete a few messages from the deleted folder to permanently
trash them and the exact same thing happened. All of a sudden, my
messages were
invisible. I quit and ent wont open the database. So i think i have a problem
with the delete function. Do i just need a new version of entourage
that is not
corrupted?
2. I have saved the database from the first time ent crashed because i have
important contacts and sent messages etc on it. Is there anyway to get
it back?
When i try a typical or advanced rebuild it says error, db cannot be
accessed...the compacting error.
