I too have a dual G5, 2gHz, 2.5GB RAM... I have Entourage checking up to 12 POP mail accounts every minute (for some) and every 5 minutes (for others), and it never detracts from my typing when they are being downloaded. Is it possible you also have something else going on? Are your accounts IMAP, perhaps? My usage question would be, why, when I open an attachment from the Preview pane using the Open button, my keyboard stops responding *in Entourage*? The mouse continues to respond, but I can no long scroll through the messages list or hit the delete key to delete them (I can use the mouse to scroll, and click the delete icon). Quitting and relaunching the app fixes the problem. It's a third-party keyboard, and I don't have an Apple keyboard with which I can test, so it might be a driver thing. peace, Linda -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
