My bad; I can still type messages. I can't use the arrow keys to move from one message to another, and I can't use the Delete key to delete a message.
I have observed this happening when opening Excel docs, Preview docs, RTF (which will open in either Word or TextEdit), and PDF (opening in Acrobat Pro 6). Which shortcuts go missing? I don't think I use any of them, but I'll try to use some next time that my keyboard stops responding (for everything OTHER than typing messages, I should have been clear about that!) and see if they are gone too. For me, the arrow keys stop working to navigate messages, and the Delete key no longer deletes messages, so if you want to try THOSE when your keyboard functionality goes quirky, we might be able to find some continuity... -Linda On 9/15/05 11:58 AM, Paul Berkowitz wrote: >> Now that's interesting.
