Thanks, I see that now -- View->Incomplete Tasks "hides" completed tasks.

The original poster's question was how to auto-delete completed tasks, and
someone wrote suggesting that View->Incomplete Tasks deleted them, which
prompted my previous reply. Now, however, it is clear that their reply was
incorrect. So, back to the original poster's problem -- short of MS someday
adding an Edit->Delete All Tasks menu command, is there any way to create an
Applescript that auto-deletes tasks once they have been marked "Complete"??
