Title: Re: Help! After the SP2 update, my exchange calendar will not synch with my Palm

Wow Jan, I wonder how it worked for you... I’m still having trouble.  I’ve set my Exchange as my default account and my calendar is now syncing with my Palm (Treo 600), but not my contacts.  I don’t know what else I could do...  I’d appreciate any feedback.

I am also still experiencing a lot of beach ball spinning (happened twice just typing this email) and twice I’ve have had to force quit my Entourage today as well.  Paul had mentioned that it might be a shared project on iDisk, but I don’t have anything like that set-up.  I also never had this problem prior to SP2.

Okay, make that three beach ball spins now.  ;)

Thanks for any thoughts on this.
Roger

A lot of people have asked for an aggregated calendar view, so Ii hope that this will be made available in a future update.

In the meantime, you can aggregate all events in a custom view, but that will be in list form, rather than calendar view – will that help?

THANK YOU PAUL!!

I’m back on track now...

But I’m a bit worried with this implementation of more than one calendar.

I want one calendar view in entourage that is an aggregate of all calendars (if we must have more than one...).
And I also want that aggregate to be the one that is synced with my Palm, I guess I can live with the fact that new appointments from the Palm is entered into the ‘default calendar’.

I’m using the Exchange calendar 99% of the time but I also get mailed appointments on other mail accounts and now they ‘disappears’ into another calendar I don’t use (that will never sync with my palm either), scary...
It would be great if there were a setting that would make all bookings goes to all calendars or enables me to say that all booking goes to one and only one calendar.

This have been a solid feature before and now I get an uneasy feeling that I can’t trust it anymore...

Thanks again Paul, You have save the day for me.

Janne

Not a bug, but not documented either.

Palm syncs the calendar and address book associated with your default email account. If your default account is a POP or IMAP account, it will sync your local calendar ("On My Computer"). If your default account is your Exchange account, it will sync to your Exchange calendar. So, before synching, go to Tools/Accounts/Mail in Entourage, and "Make Default" the appropriate account. After you sync,  you can switch the default back if desired.
