Aack! I just noticed that this message never reached the list because my
S/MIME digital signature was attached. Well...here it is again, for what it
is worth.

Last I checked (since before Office 2004), you can make the MUD invisible
and still have Entourage find it (as long as it isn't renamed). You can
accomplish this in a number of ways. One could set the invisibility of
files/folders via AppleScript at one time, but I can't seem to find the
right syntax in Tiger (Did they remove this ability from AppleScript?). If
you have the Developer Tools installed, you can use SetFile:

/Developer/Tools/SetFile -a V ~/Documents/Microsoft\ User\ Data

Then logout and back in. I just briefly tested it and it seems to work fine.
If you still want the Microsoft User Data folder to be accessible, move it
to ~/Library or wherever, replace it with an alias and make the alias
invisible.
