Title: Help! Do I have a virus?

Hi,
   I was in Entourage 2004  (11.1.0) on my G4 mirrored  OS 10.3.5 computer. Using Safari, I went to retrieve a URL. Suddenly, all that I had written in Entourage slowly started to disappear. I checked my computer using both Virex and Norton. Neither really scanned either Safari or Entourage. I am at a lose to know what to do. (I am using Entourage 2001 at the  moment.)
    I would greatly appreciate any help that you can provide.
