Title: Re: Web based IMAP server?
I use Simplicato.com for IMAP/POP/Web hosting. They have simplistic spam filtering (making sure that the mail comes from a static IP address) but are constantly adding improvements in that area. They don’t resort to evil white listing :)

I have no idea how competitive they are on price, but I greatly prefer paying them to administering my own person Exchange server like I was doing before.

A few days of screwing around with possible replacements have not surfaced a good alternative. I have web-based mail server capability at .Mac, SBC, AIM and XO. None of them offers the right combination of accessibility and management. I’m ready to give up on challenge-response, since nobody seems to support that, but I can’t even find one that will support IMAP from Entourage and POP from SnapperMail on the Treo like Mailblocks did. And I can’t find anyone who’ll let me set up the sorting rules that Mailblocks did.

I’d be interested in knowing if anyone else has similar work styles and has found a good solution for this problem.
