It's been a while, but that may have happened to me the first time. To recover, I started Entourage with the <Option> key pressed and had it verify/rebuild the database.
Probably has to do with the large chunk of data being moved from one directory to another.
It may be a good idea to insert that step before #1.

Geee.....maybe that’s my problem too. I tried this and it crashes Entourage.

2. Move everything in the Sent Items folder into the Saved Sent folder.
3. Restart Entourage and see if that helped.
4. Goto Step 2 as necessary
