One subtle, but important difference is that these folders have the
associated application's name on them.

If the 'Office 2004 Identities' folder was called 'Entourage 2004
Identities', it would likely have stopped one of my users deleting it. She
claimed she simply didn't realize that Entourage was part of Office and
thought she could free up some much needed space by purging it.
