All messages from POP accounts default to the inbox under "Folders on my
computer", since, after downloading from POP servers, they do reside on your
computer only. IMAP, Hotmail and Exchange accounts are all server based, so
they get their own server icons in the folder listing.

To split out received mail, create a mail rule ('rules', under the 'tools'
menu) that looks for the account and moves that mail to a different folder -
one you created manually.
