Folks may recall my noting that AOL has been blocking email from my
Earthlink account, noting that either my IP or my ISP has been the source of
spam email sent to AOL email addresses.
I wrote Earthlink advising them of this problem, two days ago, but have
not yet had the courtesy of a reply. Wrote a second time today.
Meanwhile, I have opened a Gmail account so that I can, from that Gmail
account, send emails to a group address I have set up which is replete with
AOL addressees.
My Question: is it possible to set up a new account in Entourage that
will connect with my Gmail account so that, from my desktop, using
Entourage, I can write and send emails to multiple correspondents with AOL
email addresses and those emails appear to have emanated from my gmail.com
address???
I tried setting up a new account that would do this, but it failed.
Maybe because I am not sure what to input, in the new account, in such
blanks as <Exchange server> and <Domain>.
Am I chasing a will-o-the-wisp here, or is this possible?
