There’s a person I get frequent emails from and when I hit “reply” to reply to him, the only thing that shows up is his last name. Say for instance, his name is Don Jones and his email is [EMAIL PROTECTED] But when I click to reply the only thing that comes up for his address is Jones. So of course, the email is returned as non-deliverable. I’ve asked him if there’s something he can do on his end to fix this and he doesn’t know. I also don’t know if it’s my problem. When his emails are immediately returned with no domain name, I have to enter his address from my address book and then send. That works fine. But it’s such a hassle. I try to remember now that this has happened so much to simply enter his address from the address book and forget about sending a reply from his email.
Can I fix this and if so, how?
Louise
It sounds like the message has malformed headers.
Can you copy th eheaders into a message and post it in this thread?
1. Open one of his messages in its own window
2. Select ‘Internet Headers’ from the View menu
3. copy the headers & post into a reply to this message.
Thanks :)
