I recently opened a Gmail account and set it up so that it will forward
mail to my desktop Mac (a G5 iMac running OS 10.4.6 and the latest version
of M/S Office; in fact, just downloaded the latest security update after
reading about it here).

I also set up an account in Entourage for this Gmail account.

When I send an email using Entourage and choose my Gmail address as the
sent From: choice and then send it, I get the alert <Unable to establish a
secure connection to gmail-smtp.l.google.com because the correct root
certificate is not installed. If you continue, the information you view and
send will not be secure.> And there is a hyperlink for more info on
installing root certificates.

If I click OK, the mail is indeed sent.

I went to Office Help and read the article Install root certificates and
I am confused.

For my OS, the instructions are:

> To install a root certificate on Mac OS 10.3 or 10.4
> 1. Open the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on your computer and
> locate the Keychain Access application. You do not need to start Keychain
> Access.
> 2. Drag the root certificate to the Keychain Access application. Root
> certificates must be installed one at a time.
> 3. In the Add Certificates dialog box, click X509 Anchors, and then click OK.

My confusion is over where do I get the root certificate that I am
instructed to drag to the Keychain application???

    Many thanks,
    Roberto
