Hello, I am new to this subscribed list. Entourage has given me some problems. It is one of the few Microsoft items I have on my MacIntosh.
I am having trouble restoring my original Entourage database since I added an additional, much larger hard drive to my G4 450MHz tower, OS 10.3.9. I have isolated which User Folder its in due to the large size, but every time I try to open Entourage, I get a Welcome to Entourage message and a brand new empty database. Ive already tired renaming my User/computer to its original name, but perhaps because I had so many empty User folders (now exiled from the computer) it thinks Im crying wolf? It seems that there must be some way to open the User Folder free standing since there are 535 megabytes of info in there. Some hacker could, I would think, break in and get the info in no time, or No? Please advise if anyone has an answer for this. ALSO: I use comcast.net cable. Is there any way I can easily transfer all of the addresses on Comcast to Entourage? Thank you.
