There is a combination of settings to correct this for you...first open the AutoCorrect window and UNCHECK the first box beside "Correct TWo INitial CApitals". Then at the bottom of that same window, replace "iPod" with "iPod", OK this box, and you should be able to type any of the iApps as you wish, where ever the word happens to fall in the sentence.
