I think your first suggestion would be the best solution. Thanks! (And yes,
it's an IMAP server, so moving takes some time.)

I'm a beginner when it comes to AppleScript with Entourage. Could you give
me a template for moving the message to another folder? (I've been writing
shell scripts on Unix for ages, but that doesn't help me now I'm afraid...)
