While reading newsgroups, I use a custom arrangement I call "By Conversation Expanded", which has settings:
Group Items By: Conversation Sort Groups By: Sent, Oldest on top Sort within groups by: conversation Index, oldest on top Default display: expanded As I read through a group, Entourage reorders the items within the group, which makes it difficult to follow the conversation. I should note that when "Group Items By" is set to "Conversation", the only option for "sort within groups" is "Conversation Index".
