Virtually everyone I know who has purchased an Intel-based Mac complains about Office under Rosetta performance (well Rosetta performance in general, but specifically Office)... While it¹s hard to ditch Word or Excel because of work reasons, Mail is an obvious alternative to Entourage as long as Exchange compatibility is not required.
Over and over again I¹ve seen friends reluctantly switch to Mail... This guy¹s experience is typical: http://www.subtraction.com/archives/2006/1016_a_postal_fix.php I¹m a die hard Entourage guy and I am constantly pushing it¹s virtues, but the prospect of waiting another year or so for a native version is making me think of joining the others in ditching the program for Mail. I'm tired of the laggyness and unpredictability on an intel machine, and I'm not sure that Entourages virtues compensate for these performance issues. Anyone else on this list in the same situation? raul . . . . . . . . . . . . text: http://www.mexicanpictures.com/headingeast images: http://www.mexicanpictures.com/projects -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
