I know, but a three-key-chord is not nearly as convenient as a lone
"k" key-press.
And lone-key presses are against apple's HIGs
...and yet they appear (and are well-loved) in many popular
applications, including some from Apple. Avoiding single-key
shortcuts is a good general rule (it's very easy to accidentally hit a
single key) but there are often compelling reasons to use them anyway.
In this particular context, I find single-key shortcuts efficient and
relaxing to use while reading through news. I'm glad Brent chose to
include them in NetNewsWire, and I'd like to see more of them in
Entourage, at least as an option.
