I use Entourage at work to access our Exchange server, and I've also set it
up to do the same from at home. The weird thing is, though, that when I'm at
home and I delete something from a folder, more often than not it comes back
some time later. The worst part is that it's not consistent, otherwise I'd
just say that the delete messages weren't making it to the server. Sometimes
things stay deleted, but more often they don't. This doesn't even
necessarily seem to happen on the next synchronisation either (I've done
manual syncs without this happening, only to find later that it's done it by
itself).

A typical example: read three messages in a sub-folder of the Inbox (where
they've been filtered to by rules on my work machine) then delete them. They
disappear off to Deleted Items. Look in the folder some time later and
they're back again (marked as read, at least). I've also seen cases where
this *doesn't* happen. No obvious pattern as yet.

This is just plain weird. Any ideas?
