I had been a list subscriber for several years, but somehow my subscription
ended last fall. I just re-joined in hopes that I can find a solution to my
problem.

I'm running Entourage 11.3.3 and OSX 10.4.8 on a PowerMac G5.

Out of the blue I started getting corrupt database notices:

     "Your Office database is damaged."

I tried restoring from backups of the database that were 1, 2, and 3 days
old. In each case, the Database Utility would scan the database and
pronounce it "okay". But minutes or hours later, it would complain again
that it was damaged.

I finally did a "rebuild", and the database size went from 6 GB to 4 GB.
Again, a verify operation pronounced the database to be okay. But again,
hours later I received the alert "Your Office database is damaged".

I'm really at a loss as to how to proceed, and would appreciate suggestions.
