Entourage and MUD just go together.  :-)

I suggest that you get rid of the sub folders and create mail views for the
subfolders listings under Archives. Just a little different way to get to
the same info, BUT it would keep you from having the problem of accidentally
selecting the wrong folder again.

I have to admit that I'm still not a huge user of custom views. I don't know
why other than I was set in my ways when they were introduced. I know of
some people that set very few folders and use the custom views to sort mail.
