We have setup our Open With preferences in the Mac OS to open all PDFs with Acrobat and this works fine if we double-click on a PDF file on our computer or servers. However, we are having problems with some PDFs attached to emails in Entourage showing a generic icon and they will not open in Acrobat, Preview is launched instead. We can of course get around this by first saving the file and then opening it, but it would be nice to open them directly from Entourage.
In the case of the file I had trouble with today, it was created in Acrobat Distiller 8 on a Macintosh from an Adobe InDesign file. So I don't understand why it is not opening in Acrobat on our computers.
