One of the benefits of living in Seattle is that I can volunteer for usability studies at Microsoft and get free software as a gratuity. So I now have Vista, Office 2007, and Boot Camp installed on a Mac Pro. I'm a compleat Windows newbie, trying to learn how to work in the other universe.
I have an IMAP account, so it's easy to see my mail on either side. But I am not sure how to move contacts - a few hundred of them, from Entourage 11.3.3 in OS X 10.4.9 to Office Outlook 2007 in Vista. I searched the usual places and could not find any report from someone who had done this. The documentation for Paul Berokowitz' "Export-Import Entourage" script package does not mention Vista. I tried emailing vCards to myself. I could only get the cards to import into the Outlook address book by opening and saving them one at a time. Maybe there is a trick for doing more than one at at a time. The Entourage Help Page reports that the contacts can be sync'ed by going through an exchange server. I can ask if my employer (U of Washington) provides that service, although that might be overkill for what I'm trying to do. -- Julian Vrieslander <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
