PowerPC G4, 533 MHz, Mac OS X 10.4.10, Entourage v11.3.3 I seem to have a vestige of an incomplete Contact entry (the Phantom) that I would like to eliminate but can not find even after exporting my entire Contact list as a .TXT file and searching for the name.
I also have a complete, bonafide Contact entry for the same individual. Therefore, when I try to add the Contact to a message as, say, a Cc: [Name], up come both the phantom entry and the bonafide entry as "possibles" for selection, along with several other entries with the same first name. The phantom entry appears higher on the alphabetized list, and I sometimes select it inadvertently. When I send such messages, the copy goes nowhere, because the email address to the "phantom" entry is incomplete. Is there a way to rid myself of this ghost? -- Sam Bays
