Two suggestions:

Rebuild all of the accounts in his database, if he has not done that lately.
(Close down all Microsoft applications, press "Option" as you start up
Entourage, and you will get the opportunity to verify, compact and backup,
or rebuild; under these circumstances, I'd suggest the rebuild).

If that does not work, drag all of his Entourage files out onto the desktop,
delete the old users (saving all passwords and connection information
first), then create new users, which can have the same names/passwords as
the old, and drag the files back into them.
