Not to steal Richard Ettore's thunder, but a freeware that can both launch
AppleScripts and auto-enter text into messages is "Butler"
<http://www.petermaurer.de/butler/>.  Though I find its multiplicity of
functions a little intimidating, taken on its own each function is easy to
set up.  I highly recommend it for convenience, stability, and (of course)
price.
