Paul can answer this better than I, but as far as I know, Export-Import
scripts export information to be later imported into other clients, most
notably Outlook on Windows. Sync E-AB and its sister Sync Entourage-iCal
synchronize contacts and calendar information, respectively, between
Entourage and Addressbook/iCal. I don¹t know how they differ from Entourage
export function since I have not used the latter, but I have successfully
used Paul¹s scripts. If you want synchronization with Mac counterparts, you
want Sync E-AB/ Sync Entourage-iCal, not the Export-Import scripts.

Subject: Re: Exporting Entourage X Contacts to AB

I downloaded Paul's Export-Import scripts and was already to pay for them to
get my Entourage X contacts onto my iPhone until I came across this at the
Kagi site:

"NOTE: Export-Import Entourage scripts do not transfer data between
Entourage and Apple's Address Book or iCal. See "Sync Entourage-Address
Book"..."

I'm still confused about the differences between Paul's Export-Import
scripts, his Sync E-AB script, and just using the export function built into
Entourage.  I don't know which one will be best for me to get my contacts
into AB from E x.
