Hmm... It might but I'm not sure. If your server were not hosted then I'd
say that "in your LDAP settings make sure you are pointed to a special
server on your network called a Global Catalog server. Typically, it does
require log in so be sure to check that option. Test before enabling any
other options." In your case, ask your admin for an equivalent LDAP server
address for you to use.

A handy trick for locating your correct servers is to log in to your account
in Outlook for Windows and then hold the Control key down as you also
right-click the Outlook icon in the System Tray near the clock. Look for the
server status option.

Not sure if you've seen this but it may be able to help you

article just means connecting via Outlook Web Access (OWA).
