You might decide that you¹d like to turn off automatic Receiving from the less important account: go to Tools/Schedules/Send & Receive All/double=click, and select the Receive from less-important-Account/Remove Action. (Or uncheck the ³Include in Send-and-Receive-All within the Account itself: either way does the same thing).
Then Entourage will only check the important account automatically and will only show the yellow badge in the dock for that account when Entourage is in the background. When you choose, bring Entourage to the front, go to Tools/Send & Receive/less-important-account to get messages from that account. (Another way to do the same thing would be to keep all accounts listed in Send & Receive All, but uncheck Send & Receive All in Schedules window, or change its occurrences to Manually, not Repeating. Make a separate schedule for Receiving the important account, and make just that one a Repeating schedule. So just the important account will receive automatically and show the envelope badge when Entourage is in the background. Then, when you make Entourage active, you can press cmd-K to get messages from all accounts.) -- Paul Berkowitz MVP MacOffice Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/index.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using - 2004, X or 2001. I have two email accounts, one of which is much more important than the other. Is it possible to set Ent so the dock notification symbol only happens if I receive mail in the more important email account, rather than if I receive mail in either account?
