The last beta wasn¹t bad, but I kept getting my database corrupted. I finally tracked it down to putting the Mac to sleep with Entourage open. Once I started quitting Entourage every time I put the system to sleep, the problem went away. I am on a laptop that only sleeps when I shut the lid, so it isn¹t that big of a deal for me, I only do it once a day or so. On a desktop set to sleep to conserve power it would really create a vacuum.
Try rebuilding your database and quitting Entourage before you sleep your system. You shouldn¹t have to do this, but at least the horrible spinning beach ball is far, far less common than with 2004. For me it is worth the switch. -------------------------- Kurt b Subject: Entourage 2008...buggy as hell? Have crashed like 5 times just switching windows from mail to calander view. Also, despite a clean database under 2004, repaired before import, I get a repair notification in 2008 every time. All my rules are there in 2008 after the import, but they seem to be working super sporadically. Talk to me people. Thanks
