Tools > Accounts > Mail > [your IMAP account] > Options

then check "Always download complete message bodies"

When you check your IMAP account for received mail, the entire messages will
be downloaded into your local database.  Copies remain on the IMAP server
until your client program commands the server to delete them.

Tools > Accounts > Mail > [your IMAP account] > Advanced

then choose your preferred options for deleting messages from the IMAP
server.  These options control the deletion of all messages on the server -
those you received, those you sent, and drafts.
