Yes, I confirm. It's those flagged messages that do it. (They're now
considered a type of "to-do", by the way.) I can flag a message OK, no
problem, UNTIL I switch to the Calendar for the first time. (And it makes no
difference whether I display to-dos in the calendar or not.) It takes
forever to get to the calendar, and after that, flagging or unflagging a
message also takes forever. The only "workaround" ids to quite and relaunch
Entourage and never go back to the Calendar. But it's the flagged messages
that do it. At one point I had about 2000, and would get stuck for 5-6
minutes. I unflagged most of them, but I still have a couple hundred, They
now slow me down to about 30 seconds switching to calendar and then flagging
messages.

To dos are NOT viewed in my calendar view.

I have quite a few emails flagged, but no to dos. If I flag an email, it
takes MANY seconds before I get control back as well.
