Hello, List -- MBP 2GHz/2GB/1GB; OS 10.4.11; Entourage 11.4.0
A couple of days ago, I did my usual daily backup to an external HD (using SuperDuper), and immediately after the backup, because Entourage had been running a little sluggishly lately, I also rebuilt the Entourage database (which I hadn't done for probably a year or more). After the backup and rebuild, I found that all of my email account passwords had been deleted and my keychain had also been erased. I was able to restore the email passwords and create a new default keychain without much problem, but one quirky issue remains -- after waking from sleep, before Entourage can download mail (it downloads on a timed schedule) it now brings a up a window that says something like "Microsoft Entourage requires that you enter your keychain password", which is my system password, and there is no clickable box to save it once entered. Oddly, it only happens when waking from sleep -- no password is required if I quit and reboot Entourage. I tried creating a matching password in my keychain for "Microsoft Entourage", but it didn't do the trick. Any ideas?? Also, any idea what might have caused all this to happen in the first place?? Cheers, George A
