MBP 2GHz/2GB/1GB; OS 10.4.11; Entourage 11.4.0 I posted this problem a week ago, received one reply, tried the suggestions offered (see below) and replied to the reply, but there were no further replies and the problem continues:
Entourage suddenly requires a keychain login when starting to download mail after waking from sleep. If no download is started after waking from sleep, Entourage, otherwise, works perfectly with no login required but, as soon as a mail download starts, a window pops up with "Microsoft Entourage wants to use keychain "login"", and I have to login. Oddly, if I restart Entourage (or reboot my MBP), Entourage works perfectly and mail also downloads normally, with no login required. The problem then re-occurs after sleep/waking and trying to download mail again. I have run keychain first-aid -- no help. I have created a specific keychain for Entourage -- no help. I have deleted ~com.apple.keychainaccess.plist -- no help. I have deleted ~com.microsoft.Entourage.plist -- no help. I have verified that the Entourage database is in order. Any other suggestions will be very welcome.
