Life used to be good. iCal, my primary calendar, accepted meeting invites
from Entourage, and published things up on dotmac. Then several things
happened:
- dotmac became mobileme
- I got a new computer and used migration asst to move over
- I upgraded to OS 10.5.4 from 10.4.11 as part of the migration
So I noticed that invites were going into my Entourage exchange-based
calendar, but were now not showing up in iCal.
I've tried several things, all to no avail. First, I tried running
icalviaentourage because this worked before. No help. I tried resetting my
sync services in Entourage. It says it is syncing with both dotmac and
iCal. But it isn't. If I check on me.com, I have TWO calendars called
Entourage. One is from Entourage, the other one is empty, near as I can
tell. This empty Entourage is the same color as the Entourage in iCal.
Next I tried renaming Entourage on iCal and syncing, thinking it might now
grab the real Entourage. It didn't.
I've tried to resolve this using conflict catcher, but after several cycles
it, and me, are still confused and not in sync.
So how can I make life good again, and get these calendars synced up?
