I was able to fix the problem by deleting the original Entourage calendar in
iCal. This then forced it to use the Entourage calendar in Entourage, and
things seem to have straightened out.
I have no idea what step in the process created the duplicate (identically
named) calendar.
Now if I could just turn off all notifications from Entourage so iCal was
the only thing notifying me, I'd be all set on this.
